Q1. Why do we go to museum to see a original piece of art, and not much care about the prototype of a design?

In my opinion, the soul of a art can not be replaced, which is unique and very personal.

Artists visualize their feeling into works which are appreciated for its beauty or emotion power, and the feeling and emotion also can not be manufactured, whereas design is a process of object, which can be developed through a method. That is why we usually question about the reasons of designs, not arts which you need to experience by yourself and art does not have to be reasonable.

Q2.How can we call a T-shirt with a piece of art was printed on it, Art or Design?

For me, when we try to print the drawing on T-shirt, we already start to make a plan about scale, colour and location,which is a process of a design. Thus it is a design for me.

Q3.A bed can not sleep on it, a cup can not fill with water. Art or Design?

Basically beds and cups could be a design, but without function and you can not gain any feeling on it, however it is just a broken cup and bed to me.

In my opinion, there are three factors cause a good design, function, esthetics and consumer behavior.

While the original human needs force people to create, likes bowls, buckets, tools to hunt,

at that time people have no idea about how to make same product with different form or different material,

they only produce what they need in simple and easy way.

Then time flies, human history and variety cultures have developed as flower blooming,

which are endless mixing and evolution again and again, people are willing to have critical thinking at that time and know more about how to appreciate beauty.

Nowadays, we live in a complex economic society based on industrial revolution, capitalism and globalization.

Which means we spend a lot of money, no matter small from pearl rings, shoes, hats, mobiles to big one motors, cars, and buildings.

Most people want to spend every penny worth and pursuit better life and better goods, it cause the design behavior happen which create more value of a product.

And how do we define what a good design is?

For me, if you can make a product for a right person, it will be a good design,

to fit the majority market is enough to prove its function and out looking good.

London Inspiration

You can be surprised every corner in London.

For me, the first impression of London is there are so many resources you could have here,

no matter museums, galleries ,shops or even parks. Try to key in ' museum ' at Google map,

the red point showing up likes heavy rain falling down on central London, spraying massively

and strongly. Besides, i love to appreciate the products were designed by western, because

they concern more about the relationship between user and product, which is the core of a

product. To compare with Eastern designer, most of people attempt to add more functions

for one design, spending to much time of thinking about how much can it do, instead of how the

quality can be. For example, Apple portable devices, like Ipod, Iphone and Ipad, all of them

basic on a simple square with R. angle, nothing more, but they are doing great on interface which my grandmother can use it.It is brilliant !
